Lynn Forbes School of Sculpture recognizes the benefits of practicing sculpture both in an emotional-creative sense, and even a physical sense.  It is actively involved in working with foundations, charities and groups to offer special programs to meet individual needs.

About the Program

"Creating Hope with Sculpture" is a program designed to provide an enriching artistic experience to people with various disabilities.  The program is subsidized by the Lynn Forbes School of Scupture and is done in conjunction with the non-profit organizations: Partnerships With Industries, the Parkinson's Disease Association of San Diego, New Village Art's Theater and the Museum of Making Music.

Participants enrolled in the program will complete a 12 week instructional course in which a gallery-ready sculpture will be produce.  It will then be placed on display in the New Village Arts Gallery (and is eligible for a silent auction),  Later it would be moved to the Museum of Making Music for an afternoon celebration and recognition ceremony.

Sponsorship/Fees

Some donations have already been made to support a limited number of participants.  But more funds are needed--we are far short of supporting the number of people interested.
